The perfect Home Base for your Tuscany vacation

Chianti Classico - Gallo NeroBorgo Argenina is an enchanting, tiny hamlet of four restored villas dating back to 998 A.D, and is nestled in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, within walking distance to the Brolio Castle - birthplace of the well-known ‘black rooster’ wine-.

The famous cities and towns of Siena, Cortona, San Giminiano and the wine regions of Montalcino and Montepulciano - home of the famous Brunello and Nobile wines- are just a short drive away.

Welcome to Borgo Argenina!

When you arrive at the gravel road leading to the Borgo, Pasqualina and Giuseppina our “receptionist dogs” will greet you and show you the way to the main house.
While drinking a glass of our local wine on our terrace, I will share with you the fascinating history of Chianti and together we’ll plan your itineraries and the cooking school.
Special offer for all our guests:

  • a cookbook with my family recipes
  • an hand drawn map of the region with our choice of wineries and restaurants
  • a complementary wine tour and tasting with our good friends Andrea and Franco at their winery ‘I Sodi’ in Monti

Once you’re here, everything will be even more beautiful than you ever imagined.
You will love Borgo Argenina.
Just come!
